Work for the best and join the Heart of the CarDon family of care.</p> <p>What you'll do</p> <p>The Residential Services Director at Altenheim plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents in a residential setting. This position is responsible for ensuring that all nursing and support staff are effectively managed, trained, and supported to provide exceptional care. The Director will develop and implement policies and procedures that align with best practices in healthcare, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with families, residents, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the overall quality of life for residents. Ultimately, the Residential Services Director is dedicated to fostering a compassionate and safe environment that promotes the well-being of all residents.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily operations of the residential services department, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. </li><li>Manage and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. </li><li>Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, in collaboration with healthcare teams. </li><li>Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of resident care and services, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. </li><li>Facilitate communication between residents, families, and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive community. </li></ul> <p>Our ideal candidate</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current RN or LPN license in the state of operation. </li><li>Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare or residential services setting. </li><li>Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality assurance in healthcare. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration. </li><li>Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. </li><li>Certification in gerontology or related field. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills for this role include strong leadership and management abilities, which are essential for guiding nursing staff and ensuring high standards of care. Effective communication skills are crucial for interacting with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
