As a Material Associate, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and trailers.</p> <p>Founded in 1928, MAU's client is continuously driving change by aiming to accelerate its electrification strategy, increasing revenue from electric vehicles, and achieving carbon neutrality by 2035.</p> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>$18 per hour </li><li>3pm to 1130pm </li><li>11pm to 730am </li><li>Health benefits, including telehealth medical services </li><li>Opportunity for advancement </li><li>Referral bonuses </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Willingness to work weekends </li><li>High school diploma or GED preferred </li><li>1 year of experience in Powered Industrial Truck Operation </li><li>Active forklift certification/license preferred </li><li>Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems preferred </li><li>Experience in a fast-paced industrial environment utilizing Lean manufacturing methodologies </li><li>Strong computer skills, including proficiency with inventory software, Excel, and Word </li><li>Excellent safety awareness with keen attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>High sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines </li><li>Strong judgment and decision-making skills </li><li>Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization </li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 pounds, climbing onto and off lifts, walking long distances, working in varying temperatures (non-climate-controlled), and performing repetitive motions </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do as a Material Associate</p> <ul> <li>Safely operate powered material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up lifts, tuggers, and electric jacks </li><li>Load and unload materials manually from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves </li><li>Supply parts to assembly and machining departments to ensure continuous production </li><li>Maintain line inventory to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations </li><li>Accurately and efficiently enter data into SAP and other required systems </li><li>Support 5S and housekeeping initiatives to maintain a clean and organized work environment </li><li>Follow nonconforming material procedures by using appropriate deviation areas and hold tags for defective parts </li><li>Adhere to FIFO standards for all storage areas and material flow points </li><li>Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols, including proper box-cutting techniques </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul>
