<p>Req Id: 35277</p> <p>Job Title: Custodian</p> <p>City: West Lafayete</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Serve as a custodian in an Intercollegiate Athletic Facility and be responsible for the care, cleaning and minor maintenance of offices; corridors; meeting rooms; stairways; lobbies; display cases; restrooms; weight rooms; locker rooms; practice field; elevator; water fountains, and the grounds surrounding the ICA Complex.</p> <ul> <li>Sunday-Thursday 3am-Noon* </li></ul> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or GED </li><li>Minimum of 2 years' experience. </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions; communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers. </li><li>Customer service and teamwork skills necessary, ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds </li><li>Valid Indiana drivers license necessary. </li><li>Must adhere to and comply with Purdue University, Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA applicable rules policies, procedures, rules and regulations. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Purdue University will not sponsor employment authorization for this position </li><li>A background check will be required for employment in this position </li><li>FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible for Overtime) </li><li>Retirement Eligibility: Defined Contribution Waiting Period </li><li>Purdue University is an EEO/AA employer fully committed to achieving a diverse workforce.
