Our citrus can be found in all channels of distribution, with our consumer brands most visible in the produce department of grocery stores across America under the flagship consumer brands of Wonderful Halos mandarins and Wonderful Sweet Scarletts Texas Red grapefruit.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Here's what you'll do:</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <p>Sales/Transportation Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Acts as Liaison between our Sales Department, Transportation and Operations </li><li>Clearly communicates to Sales Department the following situations: </li><li>Production forecast and run plans </li><li>Out Stock or oversupply conditions with all inventories </li><li>Excess Plant capacities </li><li>Production constraints </li><li>Fruit constraints </li><li>Update customer Specs and communicate to operations </li></ul> <p>Production Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Learn existing production planning process and continuously improve via simplification of steps, development of new tools, and enhancement of communication with key stakeholders </li><li>Enhance existing facility capacity models where possible </li><li>Determine daily line capacities and fully utilize any excess </li><li>Creates, updates, and releases production estimates for each variety </li><li>Creates, updates, and releases daily run lists, and pack batches </li><li>Schedule rotation of set-backs to insure maximum yield </li><li>Assure that all area leads have all of the information they need to execute schedules </li><li>Review SPM levels to minimize production shortages and over-pack </li><li>Report out daily schedule adherence for all production lines </li><li>Monitor and maintain dry good levels </li><li>End of month inventory process for dry goods </li></ul> <p>Facility Supply Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with NJ team for facility needs and enter all expense item requisitions </li><li>Send expense item po's to vendor in a timely manner, with accuracy </li><li>Liaison with procurement/vendor on inventory items to prevent shortages/overstock </li><li>Verify all expense/inventory items received </li><li>Maintain spreadsheet with inventory number, orders, deliveries, vendor info, etc </li></ul> <p>Ad-hoc operations analysis</p> <ul> <li>Support facility leadership with independent completion of as-needed strategic/operational analyses </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Here's what you'll bring to the table:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in finance/economics or equivalent combination of education and experience in a production environment </li><li>1-2 years previous experience in operations, inventory management, logistics, purchasing </li><li>Proven analytical skills; strong with Excel </li><li>Attention to detail and strong communication skills </li><li>Previous experience in production planning, specifically within produce industry, preferred </li><li>Previous work experience with Oracle inventory modules preferred </li><li>Full onsite, no remote options </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Wonderful's dedication to you:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive benefits package including Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k </li><li>Continued training and generous Education Reimbursement Program </li><li>Paid sick, vacation and holiday time </li><li>Wonderful Giving (www.wonderfulgiving.com) -- allowing you to donate company money to a cause of your choice </li></ul> <p>Why Choose Wonderful?</p> <p>Wonderful Citrus is part of The Wonderful Company, a privately held $6 billion global company dedicated to harvesting health and happiness around the world.
