As one of Indiana's largest employers, our vision is to lead the transformation of healthcare through quality, innovation, and education, and make Indiana one of the nation's healthiest states.</p> <p>About The Role:</p> <ul> <li>Full Time </li><li>Night Shift </li></ul> <p>This role develops competency in and performs the basics of polysomnographic testing and associated interventions under the direct supervision of a Polysomnographic Technician or a Polysomnographic Technologist.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED plus 6 months of direct patient care experience or 1 year of related post-secondary education or current enrollment in an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography. </li><li>Orientation check-offs completed within 90 days of hire. </li><li>Competencies completed within 90 days of hire. </li><li>AASM Modules completed within 180 days of hire. </li><li>Attendance at monthly CEU presentations. </li><li>Pass the board exam and become a credentialed polysomnographic technician (RPSGT) through the BRPT within 3 years of hire. </li><li>Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. </li></ul> <p>IU Health also offers different opportunities for career and professional development for our staff that qualify for benefits.
