<p>Job Description</p> <p>Department: Admissions & Parking</p> <p>Title: Office Associate</p> <p>Location: Bronx Zoo</p> <p>Job Type: Temporary</p> <p>Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour</p> <p>Reports to: Manager/Assistant Manager and/or Office Supervisor</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Bronx Zoo Admissions & Parking Department is seeking a self motivated, enthusiastic individual who is able to maintain an efficient & effective office environment, and provide administrative support to the department management team.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Provide excellent customer service over the phone and transfer calls to the appropriate department (returns calls & check voicemail). Function as dispatch for internal calls & radio communications </li><li>Monitor and update database regarding employee disciplinary issues, guest feedback, sales data etc. </li><li>Retrieve information when needed by using the Galaxy terminal/software </li><li>Handle customer service for TIBA pay-on-exit parking system </li><li>Document employee disciplinary actions </li><li>Facilitate communication between Associates and other departments (i.e. HR/Payroll) when needed </li><li>Complete cash discrepancy investigations </li><li>Maintain organization & cleanliness in the office </li><li>Prepare outgoing mail for distribution at all parks </li><li>Prepare documents and reports when requested </li><li>Assist in the operation when needed </li><li>Other duties assigned by management team </li></ul> <p>#LI-DNI</p>
