The menu brings together the vibrant flavors of the Western Mediterranean, from the coastal regions of Spain, France, and Italy to the rich, aromatic spices of North Africa.</p> <p>The Restaurant will be located within the iconic Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. This new venture will introduce RHC's signature style of sophisticated yet approachable dining to a new and dynamic market. The Kimmel Center, known for its world-class acoustics and its role as a cultural hub, will serve as a perfect backdrop for the restaurant, offering both residents and visitors an extraordinary culinary experience.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Working closely with the servers and kitchen staff, the Server Assistant plays a key supporting role in ensuring a positive dining experience for customers. </li><li>Their primary responsibilities include delivering food and drinks to the guest in a timely matter, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, assisting servers with various tasks, and providing excellent customer service. </li><li>The Server Assistant is to bridge the gap between the kitchen and the customers by delivering food promptly and providing excellent customer service. </li><li>Set up tables with clean utensils and condiments before guests arrive. </li><li>Clear and reset tables promptly after customers have finished dining. </li><li>Ensure that tables are properly arranged and presentable for the next guests. </li><li>Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the outdoor dining area, clearing empty plates, utensils, and other waste from tables when necessary. </li><li>Collaborate with the kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and other restaurant personnel to ensure smooth and coordinated service. </li><li>Regularly check and clean dining tables, chairs, and surrounding areas to maintain cleanliness and a neat appearance. </li><li>Empty and clean garbage cans before, during, and after each shift. </li><li>Wipe down tables and clean debris around dining area and sitting down guest. </li><li>Assist with general cleaning tasks as needed, including restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and bar. </li><li>Collect all recyclable garbage disposables and place them in the assigned garbage. </li><li>Assist in maintaining an adequate supply of disposable plates, containers, and utensils. </li><li>Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, delivering food/drinks with a positive attitude, describing each item and mentioning the main components. </li><li>Familiarize yourself with the menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer basic customer inquiries accurately. </li><li>Relay customer feedback or specific requests to the kitchen or serving staff, ensuring effective communication between all team members. </li><li>Adhere to proper food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following local health regulations and restaurant policies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred, especially in a similar customer service role. </li><li>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry food trays or plates, and navigate outdoor spaces comfortably. </li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers and effectively relay information to team members. </li><li>Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order delivery and customer satisfaction. </li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Willingness to work collaboratively with the kitchen and serving staff to provide seamless service. </li><li>A friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. </li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as outdoor dining may be popular during these times. </li><li>Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items. </li></ul> <p>Strengthened by our Differences.
