The Production Team works Monday thru Thursday (10 hour days) with some Friday overtime when needed to meet customer demand.</p> <p>Job Summary: Choose the correct paint color/number, mix to the required consistency/viscosity and spray paint a variety of products.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Read and follow written instructions and/or prints. </li><li>Mask and cover surfaces not be painted. </li><li>Mix and thin paint to required consistency as specified. </li><li>Prepare surface of product and spray specified thickness of primer and/or top coat. </li><li>Apply and/or retouch paint as needed. </li><li>Clean up with the appropriate solvent and maintain all paint booth apparatus and area. </li><li>Operate jib crane to move product. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED. </li><li>Able to read and understand prints. </li><li>1 year of industrial paint experience. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Visual acuity for detailed work. </li><li>Regularly required to stand, bend, twist, use of hands and fingers. </li><li>Regularly required to lift and/or move completed units weighing up to 35 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Required to wear a Tyvek suit, chemical hood, gloves and safety shoes while using a fresh air box filtration system. </li><li>Must be able to work in an non air conditioned shop environment. </li><li>The noise level in the work environment is normal for manufacturing. </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer:</p> <p>This description reflects the essential functions of the current position which management has the discretion to assign and reassign responsibilities at any time.</p> <p>M-Th 10a-3:30p</p>
