<p>Description</p> <p>Your Role</p> <p>The Legal Manager - Marketing & Retail Operations will drive compliance across the enterprise with a focus on matters related to in-store and online marketing collateral, social media engagement activities, contests and sweepstakes, charitable promotions, pricing and promotions, as well as other retail issues such as point of sale compliance, return policies, gift cards, website accessibility, etc. The Legal Manager will work closely with other members of the Legal team and cross-functional partners, including members of the Marketing, Digital and International business teams.</p> <p>Why You Belong Here</p> <p>At Victoria's Secret & Co, you'll join a world-leading specialty retail brand recognized globally for innovation and excellence in lingerie and fashion. Here, you'll be empowered to perform, grow, and engage through unmatched opportunities to develop your skills, gain real-world experience, and learn from the best in the business.</p> <p>Your Impact</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders across multiple brands and functions </li><li>Serve as an expert on marketing and other consumer protection laws, regulations and industry standards </li><li>Provide practical, business-minded advice on marketing and other consumer protection legal requirements and partner with stakeholders to identify creative solutions to mitigate risk </li><li>Manage enterprise-wide projects to ensure compliance with marketing and consumer protection legal requirements, including creating processes and reference documents </li><li>Develop training materials and conduct training to educate and train relevant teams on marketing and other consumer protection legal requirements </li><li>Assist with litigation related to marketing and other consumer protection legal requirements </li></ul> <p>Marketing:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional partners on marketing and/or customer-engagement initiatives and campaigns involving pricing, promotions, contests, sweepstakes, charitable co-promotions, direct marketing, digital/social/mobile media, and loyalty programs </li><li>Advise on and oversee the charitable promotion registration and bonding process </li><li>Draft and maintain terms & conditions for customer touch points and services (e.g., contests and sweepstakes, websites, loyalty programs, gift cards, coupons, and promotional offers) </li></ul> <p>Retail Operations:</p> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional partners on consumer protection legal requirements, which may include point-of-sale compliance; payment card, gift card, and promo card compliance; website accessibility; and translation requirements</p> <p>Create and support compliance programs, such as "Francization" for compliance with Quebec's Charter of the French language</p> <p>Support compliance with digital accessibility requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Canada's Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the European Accessibility Act (EEA)</p> <p>Click here for benefit details related to this position.</p> <p>Minimum Salary: $84,200.00</p> <p>Maximum Salary: $114,975.00</p> <p>VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Your Experience</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS degree or practical experience required </li><li>3-5 years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house setting (paralegal experience is a plus) </li><li>In-depth knowledge of marketing and other consumer protection laws, regulations and industry standards </li><li>Positive, optimistic outlook that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment </li><li>Excellent communication skills and an ability to explain complex concepts effectively to business teams </li><li>Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills </li><li>Solution and results oriented, with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives </li></ul> <p>We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest records, conviction records, or other criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of any applicable state and local laws.
