Come join the DMVA team, apply today!</p> <p>DESCRIPTION OF WORK</p> <p>Our enthusiastic and dedicated nursing staff provides 24-hour care, seven days a week. You will help our residents prepare for their day by assisting with bathing and dressing, distributing meals trays and nutritious snacks, completing Restorative Nursing Programs (RNP), and encouraging participation in exciting activities. This role requires solid care skills and compassion to be attentive and observant of resident conditions as well as promptly report health and behavioral changes to our professional nursing staff. In addition, you will collect specimens for lab work, transport residents, comfortably position residents on furniture, and apply safety devices such as anti-embolism stockings and boots. Through day-to-day contact with our residents, you will have the ability to positively impact their quality of life by providing the best possible care.</p> <p>Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.</p> <p>Work Schedule and Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Part-time employment, 8 hours per day; 20 hours per week </li><li>Work hours are available on 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM), 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM), and 3rd shift (11:15 PM to 7:45 AM), with a 30-minute lunch. </li><li>You will work rotating days and weekends.
