<p>General Responsibility - Maintain/repair injection molds and associated equipment to assure production readiness.</p> <p>Job Duties/Essential Functions -</p> <ul> <li>Learn to troubleshoots mold, process and press problems to determine root cause of problems. </li><li>Learn to replace & fits parts of molds, components, accessories & support equipment as needed. </li><li>Learn to repair, adjust and modify molds to address production issues and engineering changes. </li><li>Learn trade skills as appropriate, such as, welding, polishing and machining. </li><li>Communicates with supervisors, processors & other technical personnel. </li><li>Maintain housekeeping standards of assigned area </li><li>Operate powered vehicles and other machinery as needed. </li><li>Perform other related duties as required or assigned. </li><li>Pay will increase when each level (5X) has been achieved. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements -</p> <ul> <li>Mechanically inclined, self-motivated and wanting to learn a skilled trade. </li><li>Physically able to bend, squat, twist, climb, push/pull, reach & lift to 50 pounds. </li><li>Must be able to communicate well with others both verbally & in writing. </li><li>Strong mathematical skills. </li><li>Some Knowledge of injection-molding mold repair & basic understanding of process & presses preferred. </li><li>Must be able to perform duties within small areas, as small as 2 ft x 2 ft. </li><li>High School Diploma/ GED. </li><li>Must follow all safety procedures including use of appropriate PPE. </li><li>Prefer current training in all training requirements </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements -</p> <ul> <li>Must complete all OSHA required training and all department specific training. </li><li>Lift Truck certification preferred. </li><li>Lock Out/ Tag Out training. </li><li>Hazardous Material training. </li></ul> <p>Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer's, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
