<p>Job Description</p> <p>We provide professional construction management services, specializing in Lean Construction for clients in various energy, healthcare, commercial, education, and hospitality markets nationwide. We are currently working on several Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution Projects, including the FirstEnergy Transmission Control Center. We build more than just projects and buildings; we build relationships with our clients, employees, and the communities we serve.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Create and review thorough scope/design documentation for potential projects, including scope documents, KMZ files (Google Earth), Transmission Asset Mapping Interface files, and FileNet (engineering drawing database). </li><li>Create and review substation and transmission line estimates at a project level. </li><li>Review supplemental support estimates, including Access Roads, Forestry, SCADA/IT Network, Testing and Commissioning, Real Estate, Project Management, Environmental, and Revenue Metering. </li><li>Coordinate with other members of the scoping and estimating team, accounting, engineering, sponsors, regional contacts, and personnel from the supplemental support estimate staff. </li><li>Interpret and review actuals in comparison to estimates. </li><li>Assist in the feedback loop from project execution to ensure improving accuracy. </li><li>Attend regional meetings with sponsors, protection, maintenance, and other stakeholders to review the status of all open estimates. </li><li>Review, approve, or reject estimate requests in OPPM. </li><li>Build project schedule timelines for substation, transmission line, and support estimates with correct logic. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience in estimation, substation, and transmission lines. </li><li>Proficiency with estimating software. </li><li>Experience with T-Line or Substation projects. </li><li>Ability to create utility project estimates. </li><li>Experience working as an extension of a client's team to provide best-in-class service. </li><li>Consulting experience on select projects. </li><li>Ability to provide assistance to the Project Management Team as requested. </li></ul> <p>Recruiter: Eisen Hardy - 614/551/9192 - 'ehardy@actalentservices.com'</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
