<p>JOB GOAL:</p> <p>To oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of security CCTV, access control, and the monitoring of life safety systems. To ensure the protection of the security systems, and managing the day to duties of the Security Technology Specialist. This will include identifying and mitigating system vulnerabilities, and ensuring security systems are running properly and are up-to-date.</p> <p>SALARY RANGE: $43,468 - $75,256 ANNUALLY</p> <p>FLSA: Non -Exempt</p> <p>Reports to: Director of Safety and Security</p> <p>Salary Schedule: Schedule 804 Range 114</p> <p>Work Days/Work Hours: Monday-Friday (8 hours per day)</p> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve (12) month (245) contract, plus benefits package. NOTE: Precise placement within the salary range will be determined based upon experience.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor degree from a college or university; or minimum of 6 years or relevant experience with three (3) years in a supervisory capacity. </li><li>Advanced computer skills - MICROSOFT programs and supporting a Microsoft Windows network </li><li>Evidence of strong organizational skills, time management and supervisory skills </li><li>Evidence of strong skills in meeting and dealing with the public in a manner that will promote a positive image of the Little Rock School District. </li><li>Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience using power tools and skills in functions related to installations such as running Cat-6 wire. </li><li>Evidence of strong understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV and live safety systems. </li><li>Must be able to lift 75lbs. </li><li>Knowledge of security system operation; CCTV, IP Video, Access Control, Fire Systems </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR. </li></ul> <p>Such alternatives and additions to the above qualifications may be deemed appropriate by the Superintendent. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may arise.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, implement, and maintain security technology procedures </li><li>Maintain IP Video Systems (CCTV) </li><li>Delegate tasks and ensure efficient workflow </li><li>Assist with the making of employee ID/Access Control Badges/ Assist with Dispatch </li><li>Knowledge of CCTV/Access control Platforms {Lenel, ProWatch, Genetic) </li><li>Knowledge of web based software applications </li><li>Make suggestions on design, install, maintain, and/or repair security systems and/or other security-related electronic systems including cameras, alarms, and access control. </li><li>Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities related to </li><li>Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and train </li><li>Communicate security infrastructure updates to the Director of Safety and Security </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Stays current on technology and software trends </li><li>Make recommendations on training to improve knowledge and job </li><li>Answer and Respond to after hour alarm calls </li><li>Responds to schools/sites 24/7 as essential personnel to provide emergency response and crisis management, and/or in the event of weather or environmental incident, and/or school/facility/district </li><li>Performs other duties assigned by the Director of Safety & Security </li><li>Submit to a pre-employment background and drug screening. </li></ul> <p>Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. Occasionally the employee must lift and/or move up to twenty (20) or more pounds. This position requires accurate perceiving of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, handling and working with educational materials and/or objects, and providing oral information. Must have the ability to work for the duration of the daily contracted time period, and be physically present and at assigned work, with only infrequent unexcused absences, during the contract year. Additional technical skills, knowledge, and abilities may be recommended by the immediate supervisor and approved by the Human Resources Director.</p>
