This position is located at the Courtyard by Marriott in Lancaster, PA.</p> <p>Bistro Attendants are responsible for serving and assisting guests in a timely and courteous manner while providing an outstanding guest experience. As a bistro attendant, you will be prepping, cooking and serving the bistro food such as salads, burgers, wraps, lite fair food, as well as cleaning and restocking for the next day.</p> <p>This is a part-time position (3 days per week) with the following schedule: 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM on weekdays, or 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM on weekends. Candidates must be available to work either shift, and weekend and holiday availability is required for this role.</p> <p>Weekends include a $2/hour shift premium.</p> <p>Starting Rate: $16.50 - $17.50/hour, based upon experience.</p> <p>Responsibilities for our Bistro Attendants include:</p> <ul> <li>Setting up food and beverages according to established guidelines. </li><li>Food preparation and serving. </li><li>Cooking and fulfilling orders to company and hotel standards. </li><li>Serving drinks to customers responsibly. </li><li>Maintaining adequate inventory of food supplies and ordering as required. </li><li>Setting up dining area before and after shift. </li><li>Cleaning and bussing all tables as necessary. </li><li>Adhering to food safety practices. </li></ul> <p>Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred </li><li>Reading, math, and communication skills </li><li>The ability to work in both a team environment and independently </li><li>Availability to work holidays and weekends is required </li><li>Adhere to brand and company standards </li></ul> <p>Working for The High Companies:</p> <p>At High Hotels co-workers always come first.
