<p>General Laborer 2nd Shift</p> <p>#30799</p> <p>Location: Franklin, MA</p> <p>Company: Garelick Farms</p> <p>Category: Manufacturing</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Garelick Farms, Dairy Farmers of America, is excited to announce an opening for a</p> <p>General Laborer 2ndshift position!</p> <p>We offer excellent benefits and competitive pay with great growth opportunities!</p> <p>2nd Shift 2:30 pm to 10:00 pmMonday thru Friday.</p> <p>GENERAL PURPOSE</p> <p>Perform a variety of general duties of a basic, repetitive, and/or manual nature that are relevant to the work area(s) being supported.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Assist operators as necessary. </li><li>Load and/or unload materials, ingredients, parts, products, cases, crates, and pallets. </li><li>Move, stack, or place items on conveyor manually or by mechanized means. </li><li>Deliver production or area specific items to designated work areas for processing. </li><li>Pack products in crates or boxes by hand. </li><li>Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units. </li><li>Mark or put identifying labels on product loads. </li><li>Construct or de-construct shipping boxes. </li><li>Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned area. </li><li>Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly. </li><li>Report quality and operational issues or irregularities to supervisor as they occur. </li><li>Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding. </li><li>health and safety issues </li><li>Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate. </li><li>regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. </li><li>The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, </li><li>but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred. </li><li>Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred. </li><li>Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Able to follow directions and carry out instructions. </li><li>Able to effectively work in a team environment. </li><li>Able to legibly write entries for record keeping. </li><li>Able to work in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. </li><li>Must be able to read, write and speak English. </li></ul> <p>An Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>18.45</p>
