<p>Location: Philadelphia, Glenn Mills, PA or Roseville, MN (Hybrid Schedule)</p> <p>Reports to: Director, Global Digital Customer Experience</p> <p>Job Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of our global NIMBUS Color software - a core component of our digital customer experience platform. This software enables body shops and painters to efficiently retrieve and manage automotive color formulas. As Product Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the vision, defining the roadmap, and delivering innovative features that meet the needs of our customers while staying ahead of industry trends.</p> <p>This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and software development processes. You will serve as the voice of the customer, champion data-driven decision-making, and ensure alignment across technical and business teams worldwide.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Own the product roadmap for NIMBUS Color, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and global market trends. </li><li>Define and manage the product backlog, writing user stories and acceptance criteria that clearly communicate product requirements to the development team. </li><li>Collaborate closely with global stakeholders, including R&D, UX/UI, regional business leads, and customer support, to gather feedback, define priorities, and ensure product-market fit. </li><li>Lead product lifecycle activities, from ideation and design to development, launch, and ongoing optimization. </li><li>Drive customer discovery and validation through interviews, usage data, and feedback loops, using insights to inform future features and product improvements. </li><li>Ensure high-quality execution by working hand-in-hand with project managers, QA teams, and software engineers in Agile ceremonies and release planning. </li><li>Define and monitor KPIs to track adoption, usage, satisfaction, and performance, using this data to improve the product and demonstrate value. </li><li>Champion the product vision across the organization, building alignment and buy-in from internal teams and external partners. </li><li>Stay ahead of the competition by conducting regular market scans and monitoring trends in automotive refinish technology, digital tools, and AI-assisted workflows. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. </li><li>5+ years of product management experience in B2B or B2B2C software, preferably within automotive, manufacturing, or industrial technology sectors. </li><li>Proven experience leading global software products with distributed stakeholders and multi-language considerations. </li><li>Strong command of Agile/Scrum methodologies, including writing user stories, prioritizing backlogs, and facilitating sprint planning. </li><li>Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to translate customer pain points into actionable product features and deliver customer-centric solutions. </li><li>Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics). </li><li>Adept at balancing competing priorities in fast-paced, matrixed environments. </li><li>Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, SaaS deployment, and digital UX best practices. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in automotive or coatings industry or working with color matching, formulation, or tinting systems. </li><li>Exposure to AI/ML-enhanced product capabilities and understanding of how to bring intelligent features to market. </li><li>Working knowledge of Salesforce and Jira </li></ul> <p>Our Company:</p> <p>Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions.
