<p>Overview</p> <p>Milieu Coordinator - YOU, Inc.An Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation</p> <p>Pay: 21.00 hourly</p> <p>Position Overview:As a Milieu Coordinator at YOU, Inc., you will play a key role in improving the mental health functioning of youth in our residential programs. This role requires you to ensure the successful operation of a therapeutic milieu, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and trauma-informed care. You will lead a dynamic team, provide staff supervision, and coordinate daily activities to support youth in a client-centered environment. Flexibility is essential, with responsibilities that include evening, weekend shifts, and an on-call rotation.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee shift scheduling and staffing ratios to ensure smooth program operations. </li><li>Implement client-centered, skill-building activities in collaboration with the team. </li><li>Supervise and provide guidance to Direct Care Staff/Residential Counselors, ensuring quality supervision and adherence to policies. </li><li>Collaborate with Program Directors and other Milieu Coordinators to fulfill staffing needs across programs. </li><li>Provide on-call support and assist with staffing and programmatic concerns. </li><li>Monitor safety risks in the milieu and take corrective actions as needed. </li><li>Model best practices in client-centered care, trauma-informed approaches, and cultural competence. </li><li>Support program hiring, training, coaching, and performance management processes. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>Experience: 3-5 years of related experience in mental health or residential settings. </li><li>Licenses/Certifications: CANS certified; standard driver's license (Class C or D). </li><li>Skills: Ability to manage crisis situations, provide life skills training, and ensure safety protocols. </li><li>Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds (or 200 pounds with assistance), perform physical restraint if necessary, and work in a physically demanding environment. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?Be part of a dedicated team at YOU, Inc. where your contributions help create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for youth.
