<p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher preferred.</p> <p>Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Education required.</p> <p>PA Special Education certification required.</p> <p>Previous experience working with students preferred specifically students with autism.</p> <p>Willingness to support children in self care such as, dressing, toileting and eating.</p> <p>Physical stamina to participate in all activities including education, preparation of activities and material.</p> <p>Must be available to work the 5 week program and available for training during the last week of June.</p> <p>Must be a good team player, punctual, energetic, parent friendly and have an eagerness to learn.</p> <p>ABA training preferred.</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>The School District of Springfield Township is seeking candidates who possess excellent interpersonal skills, the desire to work with energetic students, and the ability to relate well within the school community.</p> <p>Terms of employment:</p> <p>8:45am-12:15pm</p> <p>Training Dates= June 25, 2025 and June 26, 2025.</p> <p>Program Dates= July 7, 2025 through July 31, 2025, Monday through Thursday.</p> <p>If you are an external candidate and you offered a position with the School District of Springfield Township, please be advised that clearances will be required prior to starting.
