Primary responsibilities include conducting primary market research that inform our strategic choices, leading forecasting for select neuroscience assets, and global market analytics. Associate Directors will have a deep holistic understanding of the global neuroscience market and represent it across teams.</p> <p>The Associate Director, Global Commercial Insights and Analytics, Neuroscience role will work on key strategic projects across the Neuropsychiatry and Neurodegeneration disease areas and have a broad view of these therapy areas and the potential opportunities for growth. The Associate Director will have opportunities to interface with both functional and therapeutic area leadership in delivering forecasting and primary research insights that impact our strategies to lead in these disease areas.</p> <p>The Neuroscience commercial team is energized by innovative ideas to deliver best-in-class treatments to patients. Creativity, strategic thinking and ability to tell a concise and compelling story are valued on our team.</p> <p>You will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Conducting primary and secondary market research in a timely manner and within budget constraint </li><li>Leading early and late development forecasting process for select neuroscience programs that includes synthesizing insights that inform forecast assumptions, building global patient-based market models, and driving cross-functional forecasting collaboration. </li><li>Monitoring, collaborating and communicating commercial insights cross-functionally with other commercial insights teams, finance, medical affairs, regulatory and other key functions </li><li>Presenting insights and market research findings to a broad, cross-functional audience, including leadership </li><li>Analyzing and evaluating large data sets, provide high level conclusions that advance our understanding of the patients and key stakeholders in the neuroscience global market </li><li>Due to the nature of the work, the ability to think analytically and lead through complexity, develop insight-based market assumptions that include an understanding of global market dynamics, and translating key business questions into clear deliverables will be necessary. </li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are also imperative to this position. </li><li>Objectively translate market needs and requirements into actionable recommendations and tactics that ensure commercial preparation, including go-to-market strategies and pre-launch planning. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications / Requirements:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required. </li><li>Prior forecasting & market insights experience is required. </li><li>Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, and effectively manage external partners is required. </li><li>Ability to develop and execute innovative and novel approaches for insight generation when and where appropriate. </li><li>Capable of leading and influencing cross-functional teams of people without direct authority. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with demonstrated presentation skills. </li><li>Curiosity and growth mindset to learn and build/improve skill sets </li><li>This position requires up to 10% travel. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in primary market research and other analytical areas is strongly preferred. </li><li>A minimum of 2-4 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. </li><li>Experience with secondary pharmaceutical data sources and modeling is preferred. </li><li>Understanding of the product development process (NME declaration through launch) is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Other:</p> <p>This position is primarily based Raritan, NJ and will require up to 10% domestic and international travel.</p> <p>The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000.</p> <p>The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year.
