This position offers hands-on experience with CAD design, prototyping, and hardware/electronics integration for advanced mobile-mapping and forestry research. The ideal candidate will have a passion for prototyping, design, innovation, and a desire to contribute to academic research and commercialization.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Enrollment or significant experience in technical fields related to Engineering, Aviation, Technology, or Design.</p> <p>Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Inventor, Fusion 360, KiCAD).</p> <p>Strong hands-on skills with electrical and mechanical tools and assemblies.</p> <p>Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.</p> <p>Interest in software development is a plus.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities & Skill Development</p> <p>Students employed in this role will develop and demonstrate a number of transferable skills essential for future employment success.
