As a Supervisor at the IMAX Theater in the Indiana State Museum, you'll play a key role in overseeing smooth operation of the theatre ensuring safety and security of the facilities, while providing the best customer service.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Monitor and manage the daily operations of the theatre including cash handling, delegating tasks to staff, preparing the theater in a timely manner, and friendly customer service.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise and support the Floor Staff team, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and performing their duties effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide top-notch customer service, including greeting, directing, ticket-taking, making announcements, opening doors, and handling any other customer service duties as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Handle online and phone customer requests and issues, providing effective resolutions and escalating to management when necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Master our Point-of-Sale system to sell tickets and concessions to guests.</p> </li><li> <p>Handle daily calibration of the digital projector and escalate any issues to the Network Operations Center.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct regular inspections of the theatre facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with managers about staff, events, and daily tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Handle the cash and weekly deposits with accuracy.</p> </li><li> <p>Take on additional responsibilities as required.</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have a liquor license.</p> </li><li> <p>Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays</p> </li><li> <p>Previous customer service-related experience</p> </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous team leading experience</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate the ability to interact with the public and co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner</p> </li><li> <p>Follow safe workplace practices in a fast-paced environment</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work under pressure</p> </li><li> <p>Use critical thinking/problem solving skills to effectively resolve customer issues and/or effectively communicate those issues to managers</p> </li><li> <p>A love of movies and the theater-going experience!</p> </li></ul> <p>Perks of the job:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Free movie tickets for you and your family</p> </li><li> <p>Free parking 24/7 in a convenient downtown location</p> </li><li> <p>Lifetime supply of popcorn</p> </li><li> <p>Flexible work environment</p> </li><li> <p>Pay rate starting at $14.00 USD per hour though rates may vary and will be determined on an individual basis.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>11.00 - 14.00</p> <p>At IMAX, you will be part of a culture built on respect - we are committed to creating a welcoming and diverse atmosphere across our organization.</p> <p>For consideration, please apply online.
