<p>The?Manager,?Product Strategy - Americas?ensures alignment?between Americas Sales organization, Americas Sales Operations organization, Americas Finance organization, and the Business Unit regarding pipeline, orders, sales, and other key financial metrics for the IT Systems?Business Unit. Reporting directly to the Director, IT Systems Product Strategy for the Americas, this role will also support product-related strategic planning processes for the Americas region related to the IT Systems?Business unit. It will also help define product business cases for new product development and execute on existing products. Finally, this role will serve as a unified market and customer intelligence provider for the Americas Region.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Support the Americas Region for?IT Systems?related topics in Pipeline, Orders, Sales, and Demand Planning meetings. </li><li>Analysis of and efforts to improve margin and profitability of the IT Systems?Business Unit and its subsidiary Product Lines which include UPS battery backup, Rack Power Distribution Units (rPDU), Racks, Enclosures, and Remote Management Technology. </li><li>Partner directly with the?IT Systems?Business Unit, Americas Finance, Sales, and Sales Ops to support pricing initiatives. </li><li>Liaise closely with the Americas IT Systems?Technical Sales/Application Engineering Teams. </li><li>Identify market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and monitor the competitive landscape. </li><li>Partner with the?IT Systems?Business Unit, Sales and Sales Ops to ensure Sales Enablement processes and best practices are established for new and evolving products. </li><li>Collect voice of customers and share with global product teams to support roadmap creation and prioritization. </li><li>Develop metrics and track post-launch sales performance of new offerings including sales, orders, pipeline, and quotation. </li><li>Support IT Systems?Strategic Planning efforts for the Americas Region, partnering with the IT Systems?Business Unit, the Americas Strategy Team, the Americas Finance Team, and Americas Sales Teams. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. </li><li>5 or more years in?technical, product, strategic planning, sales, product marketing, or directly related experience </li><li>Experience with?IT Systems?products and solutions preferred </li><li>Experience with the IT Distribution Channel preferred </li><li>Strong business acumen and ability to act as the CEO for the products being covered </li><li>Ability to quickly develop cross-functional relationships to achieve business objectives </li><li>Technical expertise to translate stakeholder needs/pain points to solutions </li><li>Strong organizational skills with an ability to combine long-term and short-term goals by setting priorities </li><li>Ability to interact with all levels within the organization from entry level to executive </li><li>Attitude to act as a leader in their role and with curiosity in all that is new (market trends, new technologies etc.) </li><li>Language skills: fluent in English, written and verbal required </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet and other business applications </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS</p> <p>None</p> <p>TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED</p> <p>Up to 10% as needed</p> <p>The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.</p> <p>OUR CORE PRINCIPALS:?
