<p>SA Recycling, a world leader in the metals recycling and processing industry, is actively looking for a diligent, reliable and talented Class A CDL Drivers to join our team. As a Driver you will be operating either a tractor trailer with a flatbed or dump trailer, or a roll-off transporting metals from supplier locations to our Barberton processing facility and/or other locations as needed.</p> <p>Our drivers run local routes and are home each night.</p> <p>The standard hours for this position are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. However, drivers are asked to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.</p> <p>SA Recycling offers:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay </li><li>Overtime pay for hours in excess of 40 hours/week </li><li>Choice of 2 Medical plans, with Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance </li><li>401k with a Company Match </li><li>Weekly Pay </li><li>Referral Incentives </li><li>Company provided uniforms and PPE </li><li>Eligible for Safety and Profitability Bonuses </li><li>Advancement Opportunities </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities of a Driver</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for pre and post trip inspections of all tractor trailers and straight trucks in accordance with DOT regulations. </li><li>Pick up material from supplier locations and deliver to SA and customer locations as directed by dispatch. </li><li>Secure all cargo for transport using chains, straps, binders, and/or tarps. </li><li>Communicate any safety or equipment issues with management. </li><li>Operate effectively and safely on all staging areas, parking surfaces, and roads. </li><li>Perform pre/post trip inspections as required and maintain all required logs of driving hours and vehicle service and repair status. </li><li>Use personal protective equipment as required by SA Recycling, its customers, and as required by the type of material being transported. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of a Driver</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma, GED Certification, or equivalent work experience. </li><li>Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with roll off experience. </li><li>Minimum 21 years old. </li><li>Must be able to pass a DOT physical and meet all qualifications of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations (FMCSR). </li><li>Three (3) plus years' experience operating Roll Off preferred, but not required. </li><li>Must be registered in Clearinghouse as required by the FMCSR. </li><li>Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus. </li></ul> <p>Candidates may not have more than 2 moving violations within the past 2 years for consideration.</p> <p>PLEASE NOTE: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
