Quickly moving into other industries, we are a fast-paced and agile company looking for a best-in-class Maintenance Electromechanical Technician willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field!</p> <p>Electromechanical Technicians use their knowledge of mechanical technology, electrical circuits, and electronics to install, maintain, and repair automated machinery and computer-controlled mechanical systems in industrial settings. They may also test, operate, or maintain robotic equipment.</p> <p>What you will do…</p> <ul> <li>Inspect and ensure equipment meets design specifications </li><li>Read blueprints: Determine how equipment should function </li><li>Install and repair parts: Install and repair parts </li><li>Troubleshoot systems: Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and robotic systems </li><li>Test equipment: Use oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, or bridges to test equipment </li><li>Document test results: Document test result </li><li>Maintain facility's electrical components, monitoring, and control systems including electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems </li><li>Monitor devices that control processes within the facility, adjusting either manually or using instruments as necessary. Periodic maintenance is done to ensure the instrumentation remains in good working condition </li><li>Conduct troubleshooting to repair the machines as issues arise </li><li>Install new instrumentation and electrical systems </li><li>Additional duties assigned by the supervisor </li></ul> <p>What you will need to succeed…</p> <ul> <li>Ability to test, calibrate, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic devices and equipment. </li><li>Proficient at Single and Three Phase motors and motor control systems </li><li>Ability to install and troubleshoot PLC's, AC and DC Drives </li><li>Skilled in Installing electrical gear, equipment, and devices </li><li>Knowledge in terminating power, control, and instrumentation wire and cable </li><li>Experienced with bending and installing rigid conduit </li><li>Ability to set up and pull wire and cable </li><li>Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand installation procedures </li><li>3 years or more industrial experience with DCSs, PLCs, automation systems, etc. </li></ul> <p>Physical demands…</p> <p>The physical demands described within are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift to 60 pounds independently; lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels </li><li>Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet </li><li>Requires standing for extended period with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors </li></ul> <p>What you'll love about us…</p> <p>MKD employees are the company's greatest assets. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base pay only and does not include benefits, or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
