<p>Maintain and troubleshoot devices and systems; follow maintenance protocols to ensure systems are secure and ready for users; identify and document emerging issues and system performance.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Technical Support (50%)</p> <ul> <li>Provide IT support resolving simple to complex problems to the end user's satisfaction </li><li>Diagnoses and resolves hardware and software problems for end-users in-person and on the phone. Documents solutions and procedures </li><li>Provides on-call emergency end-user support after-hours as scheduled </li></ul> <p>Inventory management (20%)</p> <ul> <li>Update and maintain desktop hardware inventory and surplus equipment </li><li>Assist in technical upgrading and maintaining of desktop systems </li><li>Performs moves, adds, and changes of IT equipment as needed </li></ul> <p>Documentation and Research (10%)</p> <ul> <li>Create and maintain documentation for system performance, bugs and program requirements </li></ul> <p>Infrastructure Support (20%)</p> <ul> <li>Assist in ensuring maximum availability of all network and systems components </li><li>Interact with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop equipment </li></ul> <p>Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):</p> <ul> <li>Associates, or Vocational or Technical School, degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Field of Study: Technology </li><li>Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
