Our quality products offer designers, contractors and building owners the right solutions for below grade, walls, and roofs.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Set up, operate and maintain equipment. </li><li>Check temperature and fluid levels </li><li>Maintain and prepare equipment for production runs. </li><li>Maintain block and injectors throughout the day. </li><li>Use of operator run log. </li><li>Regularly inspect equipment. </li><li>Inspect and maintain proper chemical laydown. </li><li>Communicate with Supervisor and other team members during production run. </li><li>Produce product to specification with the use of operator run logs and QC test results (Core Densities & product thickness) </li><li>Assist in training of new team members. </li><li>Enter parameters into operating screen of the control panel. </li><li>Maintaining 5S Checklist </li><li>Perform other duties as needed as directed by Production Supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Essential Full Performance Knowledge: </li></ul> <p>Knowledge of processing specifications and quality standards for products</p> <p>Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant's general safety policies</p> <p>Knowledge of calculation of output (square feet) product length, linear feet and chemical batches</p> <p>Knowledge of adjusting % pentane level to maintain core density's within specification</p> <ul> <li>Essential Full Performance Skills: </li></ul> <p>Understand the Job Hazard Analysis</p> <ul> <li>Essential Full Performance Abilities: </li></ul> <p>Ability to understand the impact of sending incorrect/defective product</p> <p>Ability to follow production schedule, operators run log, and quality paper work</p> <p>Ability to train new crew members, and complete safety training</p> <p>Ability to operate and input data into Shop Floor</p> <p>Ability to communicate with other operators using a handheld radio</p> <p>Ability to interpret processing specifications, gauges, meters, Shop Floor, SOP's</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent, technical school preferred </li><li>Six months in at least three areas of production department </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Activities occur inside a building materials manufacturing facility </li><li>Temperatures exposed to both ambient/outside temperatures </li><li>Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points </li><li>Noise of industrial machinery </li><li>Typically 40 hour per week with overtime as required </li><li>Fast paced operation </li></ul>
