If you feel that your skills and compassion fit with our vision for healthcare.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). </li><li>Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating two or more functional roles of the patient care plan of which may include the following: Nurse Technician, Unit Secretary, EKG Technician, and Monitor Technician. </li><li>Accurately and promptly communicate with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (required) </li></ul> <p>License/Certifications: Can include any of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Medical Assistant, Registered </li><li>Certified Medical Assistant </li><li>Certified Nursing Assistant </li><li>Emergency Medical Technician </li><li>Will also need to be CPR (AHA Healthcare Provider) certified upon hire or within 60 days </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision </li><li>Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action </li></ul>
