<p>The role:</p> <p>The Lead, Project Delivery reports to the Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, and helps to drive the evolution of the Boards strategic initiatives through expert project management discipline and a focus on business project execution. The Lead leverages their business, operations and project management expertise to define and successfully deliver key strategic initiatives while leverage project management discipline and best practices.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Collect, analyze, and visualize data and present data-driven insights to inform decision-making, track project progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders. </li><li>Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executives and internal and external end-users. </li><li>Identify, assess, and proactively manage technical, financial and operational risk to ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects. </li><li>Prepare and deliver senior-level project reports and updates for management. </li><li>Develop and manage project proposals and requirements, manage and assess partner responses, and create comprehensive recommendations for presentation to stakeholders to support decision-making. </li><li>Develop and manage project contracts through collaboration with partners, stakeholders, and legal counsel and manage partners and projects in accordance with the terms and conditions of those contracts. </li><li>Collect and translate business requirements into technical requirements. </li><li>Deliver efficient and effective project implementations. </li><li>Develop project management artifacts such as project scope, RACI matrix, work plan, decisions and risk documents. </li><li>Own the creation and management of detailed, effective work plans and prioritize, drive, and manage tasking of the project team and completion of assignments. </li><li>Ensure project progress is on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business requirements. </li><li>Utilize technical and business acumen and project experience to guide projects to successful completion and drive problem resolution with project teams. </li><li>Evaluate, prioritize, and manage impact of project scope changes and manage and proactively mitigate risks. </li><li>Develop, cultivate, and manage project team relationships. </li><li>Hold project team accountable for their commitments and, as necessary, remove roadblocks by leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work. </li><li>Drive internal and external change management activities such as the development of engagement, communications, and training plans by partnering with key stakeholders. </li><li>Collaborate with internal audit to ensure appropriate controls and governance are implemented effectively. </li></ul> <p>What you need to succeed in the role:</p> <ul> <li>A bachelors degree in business administration or related field; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. </li><li>Five to ten years of project management experience with demonstrated experience in executing agile programs.
