<p>Position Summary: If you thrive working outdoors, this 12-month staff GA position plays a key role in maintaining an appealing environment around the men's residence halls. Work varies between solo and alongside co-workers and is available immediately. Candidates must be enrolled in post-graduate studies at BJU.</p> <p>Company: BJU Inc.</p> <p>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Landscaping: watering </li><li>Hardscaping: cleaning </li><li>Cleaning and dusting reachable exterior building windows and doors </li><li>Cleaning and waxing exterior fixtures </li><li>Street and sidewalk cleaning </li><li>Trash clean up </li><li>General campus clean up </li><li>Storm clean up (We are responsible to clear and open paths after a storm. This could mean working through the night.) </li><li>Delegate and work alongside student workers </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Ability to conduct physical labor </li><li>Valid (US) drivers license </li><li>Flexible daytime work schedule with the ability to work between the hours of 7am-6pm Monday through Friday </li></ul> <p>OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Drive motorized vehicles </li><li>Work around machines </li><li>Work above floor level </li><li>Exposed to dust, fumes, gases </li><li>Exposed to marked changes in temperatures </li><li>Work outdoors in varying weather </li><li>Repetitive foot movement to operate foot controls (both feet) </li><li>Repetitive hand movement (firm grasp, fine manipulation, grasp & pull) - both hands </li><li>Various head and neck positions (frequent flexion) </li></ul> <p>An applicant must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
