<p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Pickerington Local School District seeks qualified applicants for an Elementary Principal (grades K-4) for Pickerington Elementary School.</p> <p>Candidates must have strong leadership, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.</p> <p>Job Goal:</p> <p>To serve as the instructional leader in the building; responsible for day-to-day management of the entire school</p> <p>building operation; major areas of focus include personnel, curriculum, students and public relations within the community.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Ohio certificate/license for principal which includes grades K-6 </li><li>Minimum of five (5) years successful classroom teaching experience at the elementary level preferrred </li><li>Credentialed OPES, OTES, and OSCES evaluator or the ability to obtain the credential OPES, OTES and OSCES evaluator </li><li>Ability to intepret/analyze data to determine student success </li><li>Work collaborative with building personnel and/or other district/building department and have the ability to perform as an instructional </li></ul> <p>leader with all staff members.</p> <ul> <li>And/or any additional qualifications, training, or other credentials, as determined by the Board of Education </li></ul> <p>Application Process:</p> <p>Complete an application through Frontline Applicant Tracking at www.pickerington.K12.oh.us and upload a cover letter, resume, credentials, and other information pertinent to the position.</p>
