The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence. Visually inspect equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication and either reports data to appropriate personnel or performs necessary maintenance on subject equipment by tightening fittings, oiling, and lubricating equipment, replacing bearings, gaskets, replacing or repairing conveyor components, gauges, or other components. Wages start at $22.00 an hour for entry level candidates. Higher pay for skilled operator with maintenance experience</p> <p>The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Operate and monitor an aggregates plant facility </li><li>Routine equipment/plant maintenance </li><li>Involved with plant improvement projects </li><li>Inspect and perform daily repairs and maintenance on plant </li><li>Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens, and other equipment </li><li>Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies </li><li>Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management </li><li>Operate equipment and tools with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency </li><li>Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a dedication to safe work practices at all times </li><li>Previous maintenance experience </li><li>Experience welding and cutting is preferred </li><li>Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed </li><li>Must have working knowledge of asphalt plant utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc. </li><li>Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed </li><li>Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions </li><li>Team player attitude </li><li>Must pass pre-employment drug screening </li></ul> <p>RGI EEO Statement</p> <p>An Equal Opportunity Employer seeking candidates without regard to age, race, national origin, gender, disability, veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other protected status.
