The Coordinator will also be responsible for managing initiatives of a certain scope, which could include fundraising initiatives or recurring, non-fundraising events.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a peer-to-peer signature event portfolio with a fundraising minimum exceeding $200k annually </li><li>Partner with clinical teams to build a culture in the center, recruit and retain grateful patient families and execute a successful event. </li><li>Execute operations and logistics from start to finish for the event </li><li>Steward fundraisers pre and post event </li><li>Coordinate promotion and a portfolio of marketing materials in partnership with the PR/Marketing team </li><li>Recruit, cultivate and lead a volunteer committee </li><li>Maintains project management in Workfront and donor/volunteer data in Salesforce Mange as well as the event budget </li><li>Manage a supporting role/role with other signature P2P events </li><li>Manage specific aspects of events (i.e., volunteers, food and beverage, entertainment, operations, etc.) </li><li>Maintain/update donor/constituent records in Donorforce (Salesforce), track actions and events </li><li>Partner with both internal partners, across the institution, and external partners to lead successful fundraising events </li><li>Participate in special Hospital projects and lend support as needed and assigned </li><li>Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner that fosters teamwork with colleagues. </li><li>Maintain relationships with existing donors and develop relationships with potential donors. </li><li>Represent the Hospital to donors, community fundraisers, executive leadership, internal and external stakeholders </li></ul> <p>Education Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree Required </li></ul> <p>Experience Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>At least one (1) year professional experience Required </li><li>At least (2) years Experience in Development, Special Events, Public Relations, Marketing, or Communications, with events/meeting planning Preferred </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to operate a company vehicle and/ or be insured through a company policy. </li><li>Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of Salesforce or other constituent management system helpful. </li><li>Ability to organize and present data accurately and concisely. </li><li>A sincere appreciation for people and how they are each uniquely motivated. </li><li>Poised and engaging, empathetic communications style based on natural warmth and enthusiasm. </li><li>Fast-paced and results oriented with the ability to work in a timely manner with multiple deadlines and competing requirements. </li><li>Strong written, presentation, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to relate well to individuals from diverse backgrounds. </li><li>Demonstration of good judgement, professionalism and the highest standards of ethical conduct. </li><li>Travel, local and regional, required. </li></ul> <p>Licenses and Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Driver's License - Department of Motor Vehicles - upon hire - Required </li></ul> <p>To carry out its mission, CHOP is committed to supporting the health of our patients, families, workforce, and global community.
