<p>Intake Coordinator - LPN Home Health</p> <p>Now hiring an LPN Intake Coordinator! This is a full-time office-based position with excellent benefits based at our corporate headquarters in Little Rock, AR. This position reports to our Intake Manager. This is a non-patient care office role requiring strong attention to detail and excellent computer & communication skills.</p> <p>Care IV Home Health is your local Arkansas home health provider, caring for Arkansans since 1993.</p> <p>Join our excellent Intake Department today!</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Taking calls from prospective home health patients & referral sources </li><li>Describing Care IV's home health service options to referral sources & patients </li><li>Over the phone, evaluating & determining if patient is appropriate for home health care </li><li>Verifying their payer source is in network with Care IV </li><li>Assisting the Intake Manager with orders & other clinical informational assistance </li><li>Sending & receiving faxes with necessary supporting documentation, signed orders, etc </li><li>Follow up with physicians, clinics, long-term care facilities, hospitals, etc. </li><li>Coordinating new patient onboarding with our Marketing Team to ensure satisfactory customer service to the referral sources & our patients </li><li>Inputting new patient data into the computer system & assisting the RN with tracking & data reporting </li><li>Some rotating on-call may eventually be required </li><li>Additional duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Required experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses whose license is active and in good standing with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing</p> </li><li> <p>Recent experience working in a clinic or other professional medical office setting</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent computer skills and a working knowledge of office machinery (computers, multi-line phones, fax machines, email, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Solid clinical nursing knowledge with previous skilled nursing experience</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Home Health preferred, but not necessarily required</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits & Perks for full-time:</p> <ul> <li>medical </li><li>dental </li><li>vision </li><li>mental health coverage </li><li>life </li><li>disability </li><li>lucrative company-sponsored retirement plan (with some of the BEST $$ matching rates in the Arkansas home care industry!) </li><li>generous accrued PTO </li><li>6 paid holidays </li><li>employee referral bonus, cell phone discounts on certain carriers, etc. </li></ul> <p>Apply online today!</p>
