<p>Job Description</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The Sales Associate will also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.).</p> <p>Reports To: Store Management</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Customer Experience</p> <ul> <li>Greeting Customers: Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting. </li><li>First Impressions: Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code. </li><li>Store Standards: Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness. </li><li>Product Information: Provide customers with current relevant information about the product. </li><li>Fitting Room Service: Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale. </li><li>Cash Wrap Efficiency: Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer Gift Cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database. </li><li>Customer Appreciation: Sincerely thank all customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store. </li></ul> <p>Cooperation & Dependability</p> <ul> <li>Task Completion: Satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management. </li><li>Punctuality: Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule. </li><li>Teamwork: Be flexible and work well with peers and management to accomplish duties. </li><li>Policy Adherence: Follow GUESS Policies and Procedures 100%. </li><li>Housekeeping: Perform housekeeping duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Personal Performance</p> <ul> <li>Sales Goals: Meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) result as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>Miscellaneous Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Meetings and Functions: Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions. </li><li>Positive Attitude: Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company. </li><li>Inventory Participation: Participate in all inventories. </li><li>Additional Duties: Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management. </li><li>Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills. </li><li>Retail Experience: Previous retail experience preferred. </li><li>Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. </li><li>Flexible Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. </li><li>Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis. </li></ul> <p>?</p>
