Applications to this pool will be considered to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions. The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing. Candidates must have outstanding leadership, management, and interpersonal skills to relate to a diverse faculty, staff, students and community members.</p> <p>The successful applicant will have special interest and qualifications in the practice and teaching of osteopathic principles and manipulative medicine.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Prepare and deliver curricular and other scholarly activities.</p> <p>Teach courses assigned to the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM).</p> <p>Participate in the ongoing programs and program development of the Department of OMM including pre- and postdoctoral training and other scholarly activities as appropriate.</p> <p>Teach the clinical application of osteopathic principles and manipulative medicine in ambulatory and hospital-based practices.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Graduate of an American Osteopathic Association (AOA)-approved osteopathic college by start date of position</p> <p>Satisfactory completion of an AOA-approved internship and AOA-approved residency program by start date of position</p> <p>Board eligible for or Board certified by the AOA</p> <p>Current or recent licensure by a state medical board</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Additional certification or eligibility for certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine</p> <p>Department HCOM - Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) Pay Rate</p> <p>Pay is commensurate with education and experience, while also considering internal equity and is accompanied by an excellent retirement plan with up to a 14% company contribution, paid sick leave, and access to professional development programs.
