What unites this diverse group of businesses and individuals is our commitment to create a safer, more enriching, and sustainable world by harnessing the power of family.</p> <p>This 4-week high school summer program at The Heritage Group will provide high school students aged 16+ with opportunities for personal, professional, and career development; mentorship and networking opportunities with college interns and full-time THG employees; and teambuilding with other program participants. You will also gain in-depth knowledge about The Heritage Group and its family of companies, which will assist you in your career planning and aspirations after high school.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Develop personal and professional skills and competencies through various means </li><li>Participate in team-building activities </li><li>Learn about The Heritage Group family of companies through site visits, speakers, and employee engagement </li><li>Develop networking skills and put them into practice </li><li>Create and present a final presentation about your experience and a business problem </li><li>Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company's core values, competencies, and skills. </li></ul> <p>Education Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School or Equivalent This program is open to all high school students and recent high school graduates at least 16 years of age. Current high school students prioritized. </li></ul> <p>Experience Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>No prior work experience required. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Willingness to learn about and develop personal and professional workplace competencies </li><li>Willingness to practice communication skills and apply feedback </li><li>Familiarity with basic computer operations </li><li>Ability to be punctual and abide by workplace dress code </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently </li><li>A "figure it out" mentality and willingness to tackle any situation that may come your way </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions/Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
