We offer several MSN options including two advanced practice roles (family nurse practitioner and adult-gerontology clinical nurse specialist) and two online advanced practice specialties (nurse educator and nurse executive). Our post-master's DNP program has a focus in translation science.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The College of Nursing seeks to recruit a senior nurse scientist who can make a significant contribution to the College's overarching mission to improve health care delivery and the health of populations.</p> <p>The successful candidate:</p> <ul> <li>Must demonstrate an outstanding scholarly record of research, exhibited by high-impact peer-reviewed publications and a forward looking, vigorous research agenda that will secure competitive external funding. </li><li>Will serve as a mentor and role model for students and faculty colleagues. </li><li>Will participate in graduate teaching and will have demonstrated expertise to contribute to the teaching mission of the PNW College of Nursing. </li></ul> <p>The PS Gerard Endowed Professor position is a full-time, tenure/tenure track, academic-year position beginning in August, 2025.</p> <p>Tenured faculty responsibilities include conducting scholarly work in a field of expertise, grant writing, teaching graduate and undergraduate nursing in classroom and online environments, and participating in university, professional and community service. Rank and salary will be commensurate with background and experience.</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Qualified applicants must hold an earned doctorate in nursing and have a record of scholarly achievement which includes a history of obtaining external grants suitable for a tenure/tenure track position and appointment. Candidates should declare an area of excellence in research and must demonstrate a national/international reputation in a focused field of research. Licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure is also a requirement.
