<p>ESY Positions We are seeking teachers, service providers and support staff to work at our Grades PreK-22 Extended Year Services programs. The dates and schedules for each site are listed below.</p> <p>Preschool ESY Concord Integrated Preschool 7/7-7/31 Monday-Thursday, 9-12</p> <p>Elementary ESY Thoreau Elementary 7/7-7/31 Monday-Thursday, 9-12 ILP Program, Monday-Thursday, 9-1</p> <p>Middle School ESY Concord Middle School 7/7-7/31 Monday-Thursday, 9-12 Connections Program, Monday-Thursday, 9-1</p> <p>CCHS ESY Concord Carlisle Regional High School 7/7-7/31 Monday-Thursday, 9-12 Pathways/Launch, Tuesday-Thursday, 9-2 June 24-26 July 1-3 July 8-10 August 5-7 August 12-14</p> <p>PK-22 ESY Teachers Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver specialized instruction per IEPs Instruct students using individual and small group models Provide pull out and push in support as appropriate to student needs Assess student progress to provide additional or adjustments to instruction Administer beginning and end-of-summer reading and math assessments Provide positive learning environment for students Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking positive disciplinary systems Maintain daily attendance Evaluate student progress and prepare end-of-summer progress reports Communicate with parents or guardians regarding behavioral or academic concerns Familiarize with individual students IEP goals and objectives Collaborate with related service providers to schedule services</p> <p>Requirements: MA Licensed in Moderate Special Needs OG trained, Wilson Certified, EmPOWER trained preferred Previous ESY School teaching experience is preferred Knowledge and experience teaching Fundations to struggling readers is preferred Experience teaching Everyday Mathematics (EM4) curriculum is preferred</p> <p>Contractual Hourly Rate.</p> <p>Intensive Learning Program ESY Teacher: Grades Pre K-5 Extended Year Services will be in session for 4 weeks. It is scheduled to meet from 9:00am to 2:00pm at Thoreau Elementary School.</p> <p>Responsibilities: Implement a specially designed instructional program for students with significant developmental delays, ASD or intellectual/neurological disabilities Prepare and deliver modified curriculum in all subject areas using individual and small group models Prepare and deliver instruction that includes activities of daily living and development of social skills Responsible for instruction that includes activities of daily living and social skills in all areas identified on each student's IEP Supervise tutors working with students Collaborate with BCBA, SLP and OT for programmatic approach</p> <p>Requirements: MA License in Moderate or Severe Disabilities Knowledge of and experience with principles of ABA Strong behavior management skills Previous ESY School teaching experience is preferred</p> <p>Contractual hourly rate.</p> <p>Language-Based Learning Classroom ESY Teacher Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver specialized instruction per IEPs Instruct students using individual and small group models Provide pull out and push in support as appropriate to student needs Assess student progress to provide additional or adjustments to instruction Instruction may include activities of daily living and development of social skills. Responsible for instruction that may include activities of daily living and social skills in all areas identified on each student's IEP</p> <p>Requirements: MA Licensed in Moderate Special Needs OG trained, Wilson Certified, Fundations training, EmPOWER writing preferred Previous ESY School teaching experience is preferred</p> <p>Contractual hourly rate.</p> <p>Bridge Program ESY Teacher Responsibilities: Implements a specially designed instructional program for students on the Autism spectrum Prepare and deliver specialized instruction per IEPs Instruct students using individual and small group models Provide pull out and push in support as appropriate to student needs Instruction may include activities of daily living and development of social skills.</p> <p>Requirements: MA Special Education Certificate Experience working with ASD population Knowledge of social skills programs and interventions Previous ESY School teaching experience is preferred Knowledge and experience teaching Leveled Literacy Intervention(LLI) to struggling readers is required Experience teaching Everyday Mathematics (EM4) curriculum</p> <p>Contractual hourly rate.</p> <p>Branch Program ESY Teacher Responsibilities: Design and deliver a specially designed instructional program for students with social emotional needs Provide accommodations, modifications and service support models Implement, monitor, and adjust individual behavioral support plans Plan and deliver modified and offer small group instruction in all subject areas Provide social skills instructional groups</p> <p>Requirements: MA Special Education Certificate Experience teaching in a social emotional, therapeutic environment preferred SEL training</p> <p>Contractual hourly rate.</p> <p>Board Certified Behavior Analyst Responsibilities: Provide ongoing support to students and families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills Provide ongoing support and supervision to teachers and tutors, as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with Behavior Support Plans</p> <p>Requirements Master's degree in Special Education or related human services field Board Certified Behavior Analyst certified by the BACB</p> <p>ESY Counselor (Guidance Counselor, Adjustment Counselor, or School Psychologist)</p> <p>Responsibilities: Support the Mental Health and Social/Emotional Needs of Students in the ESY program Providing direct individual or small group student services such as counseling or social groups Provide behavioral support through direct, consultative, review behavioral plans, or in crisis counseling Provide consultation to classroom teachers and tutors regarding social emotional modifications and accommodations for students</p> <p>Requirements: Masters Degree Licensed as LMHC, School Psychologist, or Adjustment Counselor</p> <p>Contractual hourly rate.</p> <p>METCO Liaisons: Responsibilities: Duties: Serves as a liaison between Boston students, families and district staff on all relevant aspects of summer school; Provide student academic support to students in summer school; Take attendance each morning and afternoon on the bus; Ensure that students enter and exit the school bus safely; Communicate changes in bus arrival times to parents via text message; Collaborates with school staff on all aspects relative to the success of the student in the</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Experience and/or strong passion for working with students and families from diverse cultural backgrounds Knowledge and experience teaching Leveled Literacy Intervention(LLI) to struggling readers is preferred Experience teaching Everyday Mathematics (EM4) curriculum is preferred</p> <p>Salary is same as per diem rate during school year</p> <p>PreK-22 Extended Year ESY Tutors/Assistants Responsibilities: Support students in classroom environment, pull out sessions, or in specialized programs Provide positive learning environment for students Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking positive behavioral supports Maintain daily attendance Become familiar with individual students IEP goals and objectives Help with arrival and dismissal</p> <p>Requirements: MA Special Education or General Education Certificate is preferred Previous ESY teaching experience is preferred Knowledge and experience teaching Leveled Literacy Intervention(LLI) to struggling readers is preferred Experience teaching Everyday Mathematics (EM4) curriculum is preferred</p> <p>Salary is the same rate per hour as during school year.</p> <p>ESY Speech Pathologists Responsibilities: Assist in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of ESY students Communicate accommodations and modifications to ESY classroom teachers and tutors Collaborate scheduling with families for ESY students receiving itinerant SLP services Track student progress throughout ESY program</p> <p>Requirements: Masters Degree MA Speech & Language certification</p> <p>Contractual hourly rate.</p> <p>ESY Occupational Therapist Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services for ESY students Track student progress throughout the ESY program Communicate accommodations and modifications to ESY classroom teachers and tutors Collaborate scheduling with families for ESY students receiving itinerant OT services</p> <p>Requirements: Masters Degree MA Occupational Therapy Certificate</p> <p>Contractual hourly rate.</p> <p>ESY Physical Therapist Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services for eligible ESY students Track student progress throughout the ESY program Communicate accommodations and modifications to ESY classroom teachers and tutors Collaborate scheduling with families for ESY students receiving itinerant PT services</p> <p>Requirements: Bachelor Degree in related field Massachusetts Physical Therapist license</p> <p>Contractual hourly rate.</p> <p>ESY Nurses Provide first aid care and health assessment Write care plans and coordinate the care of students with chronic or acute health conditions Communicate with teachers and staff to ensure the safety and well-being of students Administer medications and monitor delegated medication administration</p> <p>Contractual hourly rate.</p>
