<p>Major Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Loads and unloads trucks with either incoming or outgoing materials. Inventories/counts and moves raw and finished materials from the production floor or storage areas to their intended destination.</p> </li><li> <p>Operates the company truck to move materials to or from plant.</p> </li><li> <p>Unloads steel trucks as they arrive and moves steel to storage areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Operates sit-down lift and high-reach lift trucks as necessary to store or deliver materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately reports daily activities as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Material flow, presentation and replenishment experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of inventory control processes such as cycle counting and scrap reporting are preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Inventories, prepares and packages aftermarket materials for shipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in using handheld scanner and/or pc to perform inventory transactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates UPS shipments and receipts.</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps work areas clean and free of hazards.</p> </li><li> <p>Exercises safe work habits</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean safety record for operating all material handling equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned by the Area Leader or Supervisor.</p> </li></ol> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED required. </li><li>Must be able to read and write legibly </li><li>Ability to work overtime, as production demands require </li><li>Ability to function as an effective team member </li><li>Ability to follow operation procedures and assess problems and recommend solutions to resolve problems </li><li>Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions </li><li>Must maintain a current lift truck operators license </li><li>Must be able to physically lift 40 lbs. </li><li>Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment </li><li>Must be adaptable to different shifts.
