You will make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, their families and your fellow caregivers.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works day/evening rotation, 6:30AM-7:30PM.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the pharmacist in an ambulatory/outpatient setting.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare prescription orders for dispensing to patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain inventory for the outpatient pharmacy.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with extemporaneous compounding of prescriptions and bulk compounding of prescriptions and over the counter items.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate the point-of-sale cash register system.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and act on reorder points, restock prescription and non-prescription area and remove expiring products.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide multi-pharmacy support in assigned areas as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED</p> </li><li> <p>Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcare Association (NHA)</p> </li><li> <p>Active registration through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (OBOP) as either a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Six months of hospital experience </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
