<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Office Assistant 2 will provide administrative support to the Empire Promise Programs and Fortified Classroom within the Office of Opportunity Programs.</p> <p>In order to maintain a welcoming environment for prospective students, students, community members, and visiting university staff, the duties of this position include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Provide support for Fortified Classroom and Black Male Initiative events </li><li>Provide onboarding assistance to Fortified Classroom students and families via in-person, phone, email and virtual support </li><li>Assist with scheduling and coordinator workshops and events </li><li>Assist with calendaring, email support and document management </li><li>Update student information and track communications in CRM Advise </li><li>Provide excellent customer service, including telephone, e-mail or in person inquiries </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>One year of clerical experience.</p> <p>Work Hours: Monday - Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm; Occasional nights and weekends required</p> <p>Work Address: 4 Park Avenue, New York, NY</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Salary: $19.83 per hour</p> <p>Empire State University is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p> <p>IF YOU NEED A DISABILITY-RELATED ACCOMMODATION, PLEASE CALL THE ADA COORDINATOR AT (518) 587-2100, ext. 2240.
