As a trusted voice for ECU's Pirate community, you will create compelling, informative, and relatable content that educates peers about gambling, wellness initiatives, and available support resources.</p> <p>Division Mission: Student Affairs optimizes student learning and leadership, fosters a safe, supportive, and welcoming campus community, and contributes positively to the student experience.</p> <p>Department Mission: At Campus Recreation and Wellness, we are dedicated to nurturing a vibrant community where every Pirate is encouraged to engage in enriching recreational and wellness activities. Guided by our values-SHIFT-focusing on Student Success, Holistic Well-Being, Innovative Growth, Fun, and Togetherness, we strive to empower our community to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.</p> <p>The ideal candidates are storytellers with a strong presence on social media platforms and a genuine passion for promoting well-being and health education.</p> <p>Position Scope: As a Well-Being Social Media Influencer, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Use your social media savvy to promote wellness initiatives and program area research projects. </li><li>Create compelling content that encourages student participation and awareness. </li><li>Serve as a key player in enhancing our community's health and well-being through strategic social media campaigns. </li><li>Work closely with grant managers and other stakeholders to align content with program objectives. </li><li>Host live events, Q&A sessions, or collaborations with other stakeholders to discuss gambling awareness topics and wellness initiatives. </li><li>Stay updated on social media trends to craft content that resonates with ECU students. </li><li>Empathy and Authenticity: Ability to connect with audiences and discuss sensitive topics in an approachable manner. </li></ul> <p>Pay Rate:</p> <ul> <li>$11 per hour, with $12 per hour available for those with advanced content creation skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be currently enrolled as a student at the university. </li><li>Strong presence and proficiency with social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for promoting wellness. </li></ul> <p>Special Instructions to Applicant</p> <p>This role offers a unique opportunity to influence and inspire your peers while gaining hands-on marketing experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
