<p>Description</p> <p>Position at CMI Media Group</p> <p>Leave of Absence Administrator</p> <p>Make a difference in employee well-being! CMI Media Group seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Leave of Absence Administrator to manage our comprehensive leave programs. This vital role supports employees across two operating companies, ensuring smooth and compliant leave processes.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Be the primary point of contact for employees and leave administrators regarding STD/FMLA and other leaves. </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate processing of all leave-related forms. </li><li>Verify employee eligibility for leave programs. </li><li>Stay up-to-date on, interpret, and communicate regulatory requirements. </li><li>Enforce compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies. </li><li>Research and respond to employee inquiries regarding leave eligibility and status. </li><li>Maintain accurate leave data in the HRIS system and generate reports. </li><li>Manage, process, and report payroll calculations for disability and FMLA leaves. </li><li>Provide support for other benefit-related administrative tasks. </li><li>Maintain employee benefit records. </li><li>Lead employee meetings and presentations on leave programs. </li><li>Audit and process health and welfare vendor invoices. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of benefits administration or TPA experience with leave programs. </li><li>Strong knowledge of ERISA and FMLA regulations. </li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. </li><li>Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. </li><li>Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively. </li><li>Ability to build strong working relationships with payroll, administrators, vendors, and business units. </li><li>Customer service orientation and strong problem-solving skills. </li><li>Strong analytical skills to interpret policies, procedures, and regulations. </li><li>Meticulous attention to detail. </li><li>Experience with Workday is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Success Factors:</p> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of STD/FMLA and other employee benefits. </li><li>Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to leave programs. </li><li>HRIS proficiency and reporting capabilities. </li><li>Strong technical skills in benefits administration, data management, and payroll processing. </li><li>Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. </li><li>Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, as needed. </li><li>Ability to travel occasionally to other company locations. </li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds </li></ul> <p>ALL FOR GOOD</p> <p>CMI Media Group and Compas were built on inclusion and diversity.
