<p>Teacher - Special Services Homebound / Homebased</p> <p>Calendar Schedule: 190 Days Employee</p> <p>Reports to: Director of Special Services</p> <p>Location: Teacher will be housed at the Office at Special Services</p> <p>Requirements: Appropriate South Carolina Teaching Certification in Special Education (Multi-Catagorical, LD, etc.)</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates services for and serves all District 7 special education students who are homebound or homebased (can include District 7 students in County Programs) </li><li>Provides services within the hours that the parent and student can attend (whether virtual, at home, or on campus of the Office of Special Services) </li><li>Progress monitors progress </li><li>Sets up and leads 45-day review meetings with the IEP team for homebased students. </li><li>Communicate and collaborate with student's general education teacher to provide access to general education instruction. </li><li>Collaborate with students' school and receiving teacher regarding re-entry for homebased students. </li><li>Carry a caseload of homebound/homebased students. </li><li>Provide other support to teachers related to IEP writing as requested by supervisor </li><li>Ensure student has everything needed to complete assignments while homebound or homebased. Teacher will coordinate the pick-up/drop-off of assignments, ensure student has working technology, etc. </li></ul> <p>Your application will be processed when we are in receipt of the items listed below:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Completed Application via Spartanburg School District 7 website at www.spartanburg7.org.</p> </li><li> <p>A 2-Step Tuberculin skin test that has been completed within the last year. This can be uploaded to your application.</p> </li><li> <p>Copies of transcripts verifying your educational background. This can be uploaded to your application.</p> </li><li> <p>Two (2) references that are familiar with your work performance (at least one professional).
