Other position responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk </li><li>Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors </li><li>Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies </li><li>Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals </li><li>Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree </li><li>10+ years relevant consulting and/or investment management experience </li><li>10+ years of experience in translating requirements into optimized designs, and identifying design alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance and operations </li><li>10+ years of experience leading smaller engagements or components of large, complex strategy and/or operations transformation engagements </li><li>10+ years of experience identifying client business issues, owning responsibility for the quality of deliverables, managing stakeholder relationships, and developing persuasive recommendations </li><li>10+ years of experience collaborating with financial services industry senior executives, and comfort delivering presentations to management. </li><li>8+ years' experience developing and presenting proposal responses </li><li>Travel up to 50% </li><li>Limited immigration sponsorship available </li></ul> <p>Preferred skills</p> <ul> <li>Advanced degree in area of specialization </li><li>10+ years' experience in one or more of the following various sector packages; Aladdin, Simcorp, Charles River, Fidessa, EZE, Calypso / Murex, Bloomberg AIM, Portware, FlexTrade, FIS, Eagle PACE, IMS Markit EDM, Data Science platform buildout, Ipreo (iLevel and ival), eFront, Investran, Workday, SalesForce, Market Intelligence experience: DST SalesConnect, Market Metrics Matrix, and Fishtank. </li></ul> <p>Information for applications with a need for accommodation: https://www2.deloitte.com/us/en/pages/careers/articles/join-deloitte-assistance-for-disabled-applicants.html</p> <p>The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
