This Engineer assists the Project Manager in managing multiple projects in various stages of development, including contract specifications, quality assurance and reporting and supports system objectives that cares for the whole patient, mind, body and spirit.</p> <p>The Project Engineer provides input into the design and execution of projects that address the safety of patients, staff, visitors, and construction workers in keeping with IU Health's mission of promoting community wellness.</p> <p>As the most comprehensive medical system in Indiana, IU Health offers many different career opportunities as you grow professionally. Certificate in Healthcare preferred.</p> <ul> <li>Entry level position meeting education requirements to 3 years of relevant healthcare project experience required. </li><li>Requires knowledge of project or construction management, business terms and contracting methodologies, basic finance or project cost control techniques. </li><li>Requires application of regulations, such as the NFPA Life Safety Code, ISDH Regulations including the AIA Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities, LEED, International Building Code and Americans with Disability Act. </li></ul>
