<p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>Part time, 80% FTE day/evening shift. Monday - Friday rotating start times between 6:30am - 9:00am, working 8-hour shifts. Weekday and Weekend On-Call required. Weekday On-Call is between the hours of 5:30pm - 7:00am. Hours may vary based on the needs of the clinic.</p> <p>Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!</p> <p>We are seeking Endoscopy Technician to:</p> <ul> <li>Assist physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology endoscopy setting. </li><li>Prepare and position patients for procedures, assisting providers during endoscopy, including biopsy specimen collection, and polypectomy. </li><li>Restocking of procedure room supplies and monitoring of supply PAR levels. </li><li>Troubleshooting of all specialty equipment. </li><li>Adherence to strict infection control practices and use of personal protective equipment. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent.</p> <p>Preferred - Formal training or experience in medical specialty (i.e. LPN, MA, Advanced Nursing Assistant)</p> <p>Work Experience:</p> <p>Preferred -</p> <ul> <li>One year of experience in a clinical setting (or) </li><li>One year of experience assisting in GI or Pulmonary Medical Procedures, Basic Cardiac Monitoring Experience. </li></ul> <p>Licenses and Certifications:</p> <p>Minimum - BLS/CPR certification</p> <p>Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of communication techniques, teamwork, customer service standards and quality improvement. </li><li>Knowledge of the use of personal protective equipment. </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion</p> <p>UW Health is committed to being a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
