Through our research, outreach and entrepreneurial projects, Clemson University and its employees are driving economic development and improving quality of life in South Carolina and beyond.</p> <p>So,... are you ready?</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Clemson University's Prospect Research Team within the Advancement Division is looking for a Prospect Research Analyst to fulfill the following duties:</p> <ul> <li>Identifies, researches and analyzes potential major gift prospects and donors to Clemson University to meet the needs of various Colleges/Units that make up the Clemson Development Teams. </li><li>Provides timely and accurate analytical information to staff fundraising professionals which will directly contribute to the gift officers' success. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>JOB DUTIES:</p> <p>40% - Essential - Research, Analysis and Evaluation:</p> <p>Utilize quantitative criteria to evaluate each prospect's potential and propensity to give. Evaluate research results to develop and implement further research strategies utilizing ethical intelligence-gathering techniques per APRA guidelines. Proficiently use the Constituent Relationship Management system (Blackbaud CRM) to analyze prospect data and run basic queries.</p> <p>30% - Essential - Major/Principal Gift Prospect Identification:</p> <p>Proactively and independently plan and execute strategies to identify sources of major gift private support for fundraising initiatives. Present proactively identified prospects that have been rated through comprehensive research and analysis that have the capacity to give a gift in excess of $50,000 to assigned Development Officers. Advise assigned Development Officers of interdisciplinary interests, philanthropic interests and other areas of interests which can impact gift giving.</p> <p>30% - Essential - Consultation and Writing:</p> <p>Consult and meet with a diverse group of assigned College/Unit Development Officers to provide comprehensive research analysis and strategic insight on major gift prospects.
