<p>Job Title: Certified Pharmacy Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for our outpatient pharmacy at the Main Campus. The role involves filling prescriptions, packing, labeling, clerical filing, entry of prescriptions, and managing inventory. This is a high-volume pharmacy setting where you will work closely with a dedicated team of professionals.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently. </li><li>Pack and label medications for distribution. </li><li>Perform clerical filing and manage prescription entry. </li><li>Maintain and manage inventory levels. </li><li>Provide excellent customer service to all patients. </li><li>Collaborate with a team of pharmacy technicians, medication access team, and pharmacists. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification. </li><li>Proficiency in filling and refilling prescriptions. </li><li>Experience in retail pharmacy settings. </li><li>Strong data entry skills. </li><li>Ability to handle inventory management. </li><li>Excellent labeling and medication refill skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Exceptional customer service skills. </li><li>Strong communication skills. </li><li>Proficiency with computer systems and software. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role is based in an outpatient pharmacy on the main campus, located on the 1st floor of the Visitor Parking Garage #1. The pharmacy operates similarly to a retail pharmacy and handles high volumes, filling 1200-1500 prescriptions daily, with 300-400 prescriptions filled by the Parata machine. You will work with a team of 35-40 professionals, including pharmacy technicians, medication access team members, and pharmacists. The shift schedule rotates every nine weeks, with shifts from 6:45am-3:15pm, 8:30am-5pm, 10am-6:30pm, and 11:45am-8:15pm. Holiday shifts are from 8:45am-5:15pm, and you can expect to work around one holiday every two years.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
