This role supports engineering personnel and leadership through oversight, reporting of data quality, and schedule performance.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Process Development: Develop, test, and maintain facility ratings processes, collaborating across organizational boundaries with groups such as Transmission Planning, Construction Management, and Protection and Control Engineering. </li><li>Data Integrity: Work with stakeholder groups to resolve issues related to facility ratings data integrity, including asset naming and equipment ratings. </li><li>System Support: Assist system owners in the development and maintenance of facility ratings systems, including IPS Energy, AutoCad, and ServiceNow. </li><li>Documentation and Training: Support the creation of facility ratings documentation and training materials, and train employees and contractors on related processes and applications. </li><li>Ongoing Assistance: Provide ongoing technical support to staff, including data error tracking and compliance document preparation. </li><li>Data Analysis: Coordinate facility ratings data input analysis and issue resolution across multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with project deliverables. </li><li>Reporting: Perform proactive reporting and metrics analysis to ensure adherence to compliance and schedule commitments. </li><li>Audit Support: Conduct audit reporting to assist leadership in managing process adherence and deliverable quality. </li><li>Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as directed by management. </li><li>Technical Expertise: Possesses advanced knowledge and performs varied assignments with proficiency in the application of theory and analytical techniques to solve diverse problems and complete extensive analyses. Understands interrelationship between systems and component equipment. Analyzes and recommends enhancements to business processes. </li><li>Leadership and Guidance: Coordinates work activities of others within the work group, department, or other corporate entity as necessary to perform routine engineering work. Performs routine engineering activity independently. Provides training and guidance to lower-level employees. Planning and Organizational Ability: Develops input necessary to forecast costs for the routine projects, improvements requisitions, etc. </li><li>Problem Solving and Initiative: Resolves and initiates solutions to routine and/or moderately complex problems which usually require additional definition/clarification before analysis can begin. Identifies problems that are beyond the normal routine. Seeks out opportunities and embrace new ideas and approaches. </li><li>Communication Skills: Helps coordinate the work of other engineers in an efficient and effective manner. </li><li>Interpersonal Skills: Leads aspects of team effort. Effectively leverages skills developed from company programs such as Power Up & Lead. </li></ul> <p>Principal Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of substation electrical engineering, design, and equipment is preferred; maintenance or operations experience is also considered. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; advanced skills in reporting tools like MS Excel, PowerBI, or Cognos are strongly preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with computer-aided design software is preferred. </li><li>Experience with IPS Energy Asset Management software is strongly preferred. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Engineer - Grade 5:</p> <p>(61,647.00 - 92,468.00 USD Annual)</p> <p>This is an entry level position for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*</p> <ul> <li>Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged and preferred. </li></ul> <p>Acceptable alternative is:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program. </li></ul> <p>Engineer - Grade 6:</p> <p>(72,380.00 - 108,569.00 USD Annual)</p> <ul> <li>Has typically acquired 2 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*. </li><li>Individuals with a Master's degree in engineering from an engineering program accredited by ABET* may be considered for entry into the organization at this level. </li></ul> <p>Acceptable alternative is:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program. </li></ul> <p>Engineer - Grade 7:</p> <p>(85,081.00 - 127,624.00 USD Annual)</p> <ul> <li>Has typically acquired 4 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET<em>; or 2 years of related engineering experience along with a Master's degree in engineering from a program accredited by ABET</em> . </li><li>Individuals with a PhD in engineering from an engineering program accredited by ABET* may be considered for entry into the organization at this level. </li><li>Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico is encouraged and preferred. </li></ul> <p>Acceptable alternative is:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program.
